Freddy is the CEO, founder and lead instructor Intelligence Tradecraft. He spent several years working as an intelligence analysts in the Norwegian armed forces before moving into private sector intelligence.

Intelligence Tradecraft is a licensee of Pherson Associates’ “Intelligence Analysis Professional (IAP) certification. The IAP certification is always taught supported by either Mrs. Lenz or Dos Santos.

Laura Lenz

Director, Analytic Tradecraft Programs, Ms. Lenz uses her analytic and leadership experience to guide intelligence, cyber, and law enforcement leaders and analysts as they make sense of the present and anticipate the future. As an analytic tradecraft expert and leadership coach who has worked with Pherson Associates for 18 years, Laura works with managers and analysts on the front lines of cybersecurity, national security, homeland security, and law enforcement to help them apply structured analytic techniques, models, and strong critical thinking skills to answer the big questions that shape policy and action. .

Elizabeth Dos Santos

Senior Analytic Tradecraft Advisor, Pherson Associates, LLC. Ms. Dos Santos is currently a curriculum designer and instructor after retiring from a 24-year career as a senior Intelligence Analyst with the FBI. After working at FBI HQ and the Legal Attaché Office in Paris, she last served at the FBI Miami Field Office as the Collection Manager coordinating collection efforts on all FBI programs including Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence, Cyber, Criminal, and Weapons of Mass Destruction. For the ten years prior to her retirement, Ms. Dos Santos taught courses at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia including Advanced Approaches to Critical Thinking and Applied Collection Management for students across the US Intelligence Community. She received her undergraduate degree from Trinity University and master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She is also a graduate of the US Intelligence Community Advanced Analyst Program and certified as an Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Analytic Tradecraft Evaluator.
